Best Botox Injections in The Los Angeles Area
Botox can be used to achieve natural beauty results – making your skin look years younger, with your most visible wrinkles largely disappearing, all without letting everyone know that you’ve just “had work done”.
It can also, however, be used to create results that broadcast to the world that you’ve just had your face immobilized. As well as drawing attention to your face in the worst possible way.
You’ve come to the right place if you can’t afford to make expensive mistakes and value finding a dependable practitioner with whom you can develop a long-term, trusted relationship. Dr Ella is that person, and we’re here to tell you more about her and her innovative approach to achieving harmonious, realistic results while avoiding every Botox horror story you’ve heard about.
Versatile and Innovative
Dr Ella is a practicing physician, in addition to devoting most of her time to performing and supervising cosmetic procedures. She has spent decades studying and refining her techniques. She’s not only a highly skilled practitioner, but she’s also someone with a very highly developed sense of aesthetics. When visit Dr Ella, you’ll quickly understand that she is the real deal – a highly experienced, caring Doctor with an undeniable knack for getting the best possible results with the smallest possible doses of Botox.
Well, over 90% of patients who visit YourLaserSkinCare choose to have some Botox applied; many also use it in combination with other non-invasive cosmetic procedures available here.
Full Range of Cosmetic Botox Treatments Available
Dr. Ella offers a comprehensive range of FDA-approved cosmetic Botox treatments 1, including the classic upper face treatments: forehead, nose lines, nose lifting, and glabellar lines; lower face treatments: upper and lower lip treatments, lip flip, and general slimming; and chin and neck treatments: the Nefertiti sculpt, decolletage, and trapezius. She also offers Botox under the lower eyelid, a technique that many Botox practitioners avoid.
Although she does not perform all medically oriented Botox procedures, she is able to treat excessive sweating on the face, underarms, and on feet. She is able to adjust upper-face Botox to also help alleviate migraine and tension headaches; lower-face slimming can also be adjusted to help alleviate TMJ.
Above all, a Natural Look
Your Laser Skin Care places the highest priority on achieving natural-looking results, even if that requires leaving some minor wrinkles in place. Having a completely wrinkle-free appearance might seem attractive when looking at selfies, but in reality, seeing someone talking whose face is unable to display even significant emotions is a very disconcerting experience. This is the result of overuse of Botox, often a combination of the provider’s lack of skill or experience and the patient’s unreasonable expectations.
We promise to give you the straight talk and guide you in the direction of achieving the most effective cosmetic improvements while avoiding the “uncanny valley” look.
Does Less Botox Increase Results?
Dr Ella uses her protocols, developed and refined over many years. While based on standard Botox guidelines 2, she believes that “less is more” is the key to achieving the most natural-looking results possible. She will often apply very minimal Botox doses to achieve more subtle results than are typically possible using Botox. Her aim is for her patients to leave looking as if they’ve just had a very relaxing vacation, not like they’ve just undergone a cosmetic procedure.
The Individual, Tailored Approach
“We tailor the treatment to each individual” is not a marketing slogan, but a genuine statement of how Dr. Ella works. She takes the time to examine every potential patient, discuss their objectives, and to carefully evaluate the best treatment protocols to apply. She does not use a “one size fits all” approach but adjusts the dose and location of every Botox injection according to individual needs. And if she doesn’t think that Botox is the best solution for someone, she’ll say so.
Correction or Prevention?
Historically, Botox has been viewed as a corrective procedure that repairs the effects of aging or adjusts one’s appearance to achieve specific cosmetic goals 3. However, in recent years, we’ve seen a significant number of patients interested in the proactive use of Botox as a way to prevent the formation of lines and wrinkles later in life. Increasing numbers of patients in their mid to late 20s, both men and women, are opting to use Botox this way. Dr. Ella specializes in the naturalistic and minimalist use of Botox; this is exactly the skill set needed to most effectively apply Botox preventatively.
Repairing Bad Botox
Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Doctors can legally perform Botox procedures. Unsurprisingly, Botox practitioners display a wide range of skill levels. It’s an unfortunate fact that we sometimes encounter patients treated by Botox providers (even highly skilled medical practitioners with impressive credentials) who haven’t applied what we’d consider to be the best aesthetic judgment and either over-apply Botox or who leave patients with unnatural or unbalanced results.
Dr Ella is often called upon to advise on the best ways to repair unnatural-looking or asymmetrical Botox results. Sometimes, the only answer is to wait for unwanted results to fade over time, but in many cases, we can carefully apply corrective Botox to greatly improve the results. She regards the ability to subtly adjust and improve suboptimal Botox results as one of her most important skills.
High Standards and Personal Service
Dr Ella’s standards are rigorously maintained. You’ll be given the opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish to put yourself at ease, and you will be given a fair and honest evaluation of exactly what results to expect from any procedure. You will not be pressured into agreeing to any course of treatment.
YourLaserSkinCare follows up with every patient two weeks after each procedure to ensure you’re getting the expected results and to check if you have any concerns about your recovery. In some cases minor touch-ups may be needed after a procedure, and these may be scheduled at the same time your procedure is booked.
The Opposite of Elite
Dr. Ella has assembled a team dedicated to creating the most comfortable environment for cosmetic procedures. Despite being centrally located midway between Beverly Hills and the Miracle Mile in Los Angeles, the YourLaserSkinCare Medical Spa is emphatically not an elitist institution.
Dr Ella’s credo is to make high-quality cosmetic procedures available to as wide a clientele as possible. To further this aim, she has adopted a price schedule that is extremely competitive.
She truly believes in providing the very best possible care at the most affordable price. Her clients recognize this – her patients are located all over the United States, as well as in Mexico, the UK, and even Australia and New Zealand. Most take the opportunity to visit her whenever they’re in town, but several travel here specifically to see her and have done so repeatedly over the years.
Are Botox Injections Painful?
Botox needles are ultra-fine, allowing precise doses to be injected with minimal discomfort. Dr Ella uses anesthetic creams or cold packs to reduce discomfort when a patient is especially sensitive. If you have any concerns about this, please discuss them with Dr. Ella.
Will My Wrinkles Worsen if I Stop Using Botox?
Although Botox doesn’t have permanent effects, repeated applications at the same location can cause affected muscles to weaken over time. Fortunately, this has the effect of lessening the need to re-apply Botox in the future. Consequently, wrinkles will not get worse if you stop using Botox, but may remain better than their initial state.
Is Botox Toxic to the Body?
Botox is derived from botulinum toxin, extracted and refined from the bacteria that causes botulism (a rare but serious type of food poisoning). However, Botox is not the same as botulism, and you cannot contract botulism from Botox. Botox use is extremely carefully regulated; the FDA only approved its use after extended safety testing. With a 35 year safety record and with many millions of injections administered, Botox is considered very safe when administered by qualified practitioners.
How Long Will My Results Last?
Botox does not accumulate in the body, and its effects are only temporary. Nerves recover their function three to four months after treatment, and their related muscles will eventually regain their normal ability to move if Botox is not re-applied.
