When you want to decrease the effects of aging, there are many options. One of them is to tighten the skin. Tightening is a treatment used on sun-damaged or aging skin. It is effective for smoothing away wrinkles around the eyes and acne scars.

The beauty of Laser Skin Tightening is that it involves no downtime and has minimal discomfort. After the treatment, patients can return to work or go to dinner without anyone knowing they have just received a treatment. This treatment could even be done over a long lunch hour.

What You Should Know about Your Skin and Wrinkles

The skin consists of three layers: 1) the outer layer called the epidermis, and 2-3) the inner layers (dermis and subcutaneous). The main structural element of the dermis is a protein called collagen. This protein provides strength for the skin. As we get older, we produce less collagen, which eventually leads to wrinkles, fine lines and bags in the skin.

Why Should You Consider the Laser Skin Tightening Procedure?

The Laser Skin Tightening procedure is non-invasive. It creates tightening in the collagen fibers found in the deeper layers of the skin. This leads to improved facial contours and healthier collagen. With its new revolutionary technology, Tightening improve your skin’s appearance and enhances the contours of your body by reshaping your skin’s innermost structures. This leads to healthier, younger looking skin.

Sclerotherapy – Broken Capillary and Vein Therapy

Little things can go wrong in the body as we age. For example, small blood vessels like veins and capillaries can break or become larger than normal. This can happen in people with a disease known as telangiectasia, and even in those without the disease. The areas of the body where this occurs most often include the thighs, around the knees, on the calves and on the ankles. It can also happen unexpectedly in the chest, back and on the arms. These unsightly spider veins can occur anywhere in the body.

When the breakage or enlargement occurs, the red veins or capillaries show through the skin. Sometimes these broken veins or capillaries are called spider veins. Other times, they are called varicose veins. The veins may be red, pink, violet or blue in color.

And if you have them, you know that it’s an annoyance that you really want to eliminate. That’s where SCLEROTHERAPY comes in to bring benefits. Sclerotherapy is Leg Vein Therapy. But it’s also Vein Therapy for Veins in the Chest, Arms, Back, and even on the Face.

Many people are concerned that if the veins are removed, there will be a potential problem later on. However, these veins do not serve any specific purpose and can be removed without posing any health risks.

Experience an uncompromising level of care from a trained facial cosmetic physician with years of experience, and 100% satisfaction rate.

Testimonials

Darien M. from Yelp.com

“I have been going to Dr. Ella Fedonenko for about 3 years now. After going to one doctor after another, I am convinced that she is THE BEST for Botox hands down.  In fact this year I was hired to write an article about another doctor for a magazine and got FREE Botox in exchange and I could really see the difference in my final results – with Dr. Ella I look young(er) and normal-pretty (she really listens to me when I say which wrinkles particularly bother me); with the other doctor I thought I looked like a surprised scarecrow.  Ugh!  PLUS she offers the absolute best price and computes it very fairly (doesn’t charge by the “area” which is common but rather by the actual amount used, which varies from patient to patient of course).  She always calls me personally after about a week to see if all is ok.  And there are free touchups if any spots seem to not have “ironed out” as well as hoped, too.  We always do the crow’s feet, the frown lines and my (terribly) wrinkly forehead, which is now as smooth as when I was quite young.

I am older now (although just yesterday a friend told me I looked 35, proof that she’s vision-impaired or botox really works!), and also have a number of skin growths popping up in recent years which bother me a lot – so I go to Dr. Ella to have them removed.  She is the only doctor I’ve been to who has an electronic “knife” (well, I’m not sure that’s the right name, but that’s what I’m calling it) that takes them off fast and permanently without scarring and without the use of the dreaded so painful freezing nitrogen spray other doctors have used on me.  She anesthesizes the bigger growths before removing.  She is very caring and tries to make me as comfortable as possible.

If you want a highly skilled doctor who will focus on what you need and deliver it with great results, I recommend Dr. Ella 100%!”

DENTISTRY THAT LASTS – QUALITY THAT COUNTS”

What are Fillers?

As BOTOX opened the world to an exciting new era of anti-aging cosmetic dermatology, derma fillers revolutionized it. Loss of volume, resulting in deep hollows under the eyes and cheeks, jowls, folds and creases and the inevitable pull of gravity on ligaments and underlying tissue are among a few of the changes that totally alter the youthful contours of your face.

Then, in 1996, Restylane was the first “injectable filler” to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for cosmetic purposes. The sister fillers of Juvederm, Perlane and Radiesse soon followed, reversing and replenishing many of the most severe effects of premature aging.

Our resident medical expert at Your Laser Skin Care Center in Los Angeles, Dr. Ella Fedonenko, provides the latest dermal fillers to reduce wrinkles and facial folds, reduce acne scars, plump up lips and help to re-sculpt other areas of your face and body.

The advantages of dermal fillers

• Smooth out wrinkles
• Fill in depressed areas such as at the corners of the mouth
• Fill in prominent smile line folds
• Redefine lip borders and eliminate small grooves that cause your lipstick to “bleed”
• Plump up lips
• Quick and instant solutions with very little down time!

Fillers are Really Filling the Bill

For the nearly 2,000,000 people who had facial filler procedures, in 2012, there was very good news in May, 2013. An FDA panel unanimously recommended that Juvederm Voluma XC be approved as the first derma filler for replacing volume in the mid-face, or hollow cheek area! From gravity, from weight loss, from the natural shifting of fatty deposits, the “gaunt” look has been a common concern for many men and women and this news is very welcomed, indeed.

By the way, according to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the 2,000,000 patients using Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane and other fillers, in 2012, shows an increase of 205% since 2000. Since 2010, these fillers have seen an increase of 110%.

BOTOX, which is not a filler for wrinkles but eliminates the muscle contractions that cause them, increased 115%. In the same 3-year time period, face-lifts saw an increase of only 20%.

With the average price of $800 for one session of fillers and a face-lift costing upwards of $10,000 – and continuing new treatments almost annually – many surgeons wonder if they will be performing any face-lifts within the next five to ten years!
